Today, I saw Avatar at the IMAX with my grandmother and brother. Breathtaking!! Go see it for sure! And it was a great movie for me to see right before traveling to a new place. It showed the importance of looking deeper into things and people and appreciating all they have to offer. It definitely highlighted the hidden dangers of new, unknown places. And it emphasized enjoying every moment and adventure to its fullest. It also reminded me a lot of the history of the world.... kind of depressing in that sense. It did make me cry, but it was one of the best movies I have seen in my life. :)
As for preparing to leave.... The visa arrived! Yay! I got my typhoid vaccine, malaria medication, and Ambien (thank you doctor!) yesterday. I also got to see most of my girls again but it was so bitter sweet since it was the last time for a long time.... Love you all! It's pretty hard to believe but all I have left to do is pack. 5 months worth in 2 suitcases... this will be interesting. I'm so ready though.
Next time I blog, I will finally be in Africa!
